Furthermore, the hiking trails for hiking seekers and picnic areas for picnicking are also provided. Amenities like picnic tables with grills, campgrounds & Lone Rock Cafe for food are also available for outsiders. The ideal time to explore this destination is in the spring & fall.

Note: Swimming is strictly prohibited on Pierce Lake.

Olson Lake Beach

This lake is in the west lane road of Loves Park near Rock Cut State Park, Illinois. The Olson Lake is spread over 60 acres & well known as the best swimming lake. Also, scenic trails of 1.8 miles for visitors are available. This place also provides amenities to outsiders like campgrounds, electric motorboats, picnic areas & tables, paddleboards for their convenience. Food items like snacks and ice creams are provided here. The best time for visitors to reach and relish the activities is in the summer and at noon.

The fees for children below 3 are free at Olson Lake Beach. The admission is in  $5.00 for individuals 48 inches or taller & for those below 48 inches, it is $2.50 for individuals under 48 inches. Campsites range from approximately $25 to $35 per night
