Charter buses in Omaha, Bellevue and Papillion
Omaha produces the largest share of Nebraska group travel, and most of it follows three patterns: airport transfers from Eppley Airfield, event days downtown and school field trips. The CHI Health Center hosts conventions, concerts and arena events that call for hotel shuttle loops. Charles Schwab Field fills every June for the Men's College World Series. Families and schools head to the Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium, The Durham Museum inside the former Union Station, and Lauritzen Gardens. South of the city, Bellevue groups visit Fontenelle Forest and Bellevue Berry Farm, Offutt Air Force Base brings government and military transport requests, and Papillion's Werner Park hosts minor league baseball nights.

Charter buses in Lincoln
Lincoln packs a state capital, a Big Ten campus and a full event calendar into a compact city. Groups tour the Nebraska State Capitol, whose tower is visible for miles across the prairie, eat and stay in the Haymarket, and visit the University of Nebraska State Museum at Morrill Hall. Pinnacle Bank Arena handles concerts and basketball, the Lancaster Event Center hosts rodeos, shows and expos, and Memorial Stadium turns fall Saturdays into the biggest crowd in Nebraska. Lincoln also sends many groups outward: youth teams to tournaments in Kansas City or Des Moines, and seniors to day trips at the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum near Ashland.

Charter buses in Grand Island and Hastings
Much of central Nebraska meets in Grand Island. The Nebraska State Fair runs at Fonner Park from late August through Labor Day, and 4-H clubs, youth groups and seniors charter buses to it from every corner of the state. The Stuhr Museum of the Prairie Pioneer makes a strong history field trip, and the Platte River south of town is crane country each spring. Hastings, about 25 miles south, adds college visits and the Hastings Museum, a natural and local history stop that pairs well with Grand Island in a single day.

Charter buses in Kearney
Kearney sits where I-80 meets the heart of the Platte Valley. The Great Platte River Road Archway, built right over the interstate, tells the story of the trails that crossed here. The University of Nebraska at Kearney draws campus visits and athletic events, and the city's hotels make it the overnight base for crane season, when hundreds of thousands of sandhill cranes rest on the river. Rowe Sanctuary near Gibbon and the Crane Trust near Wood River offer guided viewing that groups reserve well ahead. Kearney also hosts statewide youth tournaments, so team buses arrive from all directions on spring and summer weekends.

Charter buses in North Platte, our home base
BUSXOXO is headquartered on Burlington Boulevard in North Platte, so this is the stretch of I-80 we know best. Groups climb Golden Spike Tower to watch Union Pacific's Bailey Yard sort freight cars below, tour the Buffalo Bill Ranch State Historical Park and break long cross-state drives with a meal in town. North Platte is also a natural meeting point: a minibus from the Sandhills or a team from McCook can link up with a coach heading east or west. For trips that start in the west and end in Omaha or Lincoln, it is the logical midpoint for a driver change or an overnight.

Charter buses in The Panhandle: Scottsbluff, Gering, Alliance, Sidney
Western Nebraska is trail country. Scotts Bluff National Monument rises above Gering, Chimney Rock stands near Bayard, and the area's museums trace the Oregon, California and Mormon trail migrations, which makes the Panhandle a classic school and heritage tour. Further north, Alliance has Carhenge, while Toadstool Geologic Park and Fort Robinson State Park sit in the Pine Ridge near Crawford. Agate Fossil Beds National Monument rewards groups willing to drive the extra miles. Sidney, on I-80 near the Colorado line, is a stopover for groups heading to Denver.

Charter buses in North-central: Valentine and the Niobrara
The Niobrara National Scenic River near Valentine is one of the state's favorite summer outings, with canoeing, tubing and waterfalls tucked into the river canyon. Charter buses in Northeast: Norfolk, Columbus and Fremont
Northeast Nebraska sends a steady stream of school, church and team groups toward Omaha and Lincoln. Norfolk is the region's largest city and the eastern end of the Cowboy Trail, a long rail-trail conversion popular with cycling groups. Columbus, where the Loup River meets the Platte, is a regular starting point for band, choir and sports trips. Fremont, roughly 35 miles northwest of downtown Omaha, works well as a pickup for groups bound for Eppley Airfield or an Omaha event.

Charter buses in Southeast: Nebraska City, Beatrice and the river bluffs
Southeast Nebraska rewards a day trip. Nebraska City is the home of Arbor Day, with Arbor Lodge State Historical Park and orchards that fill with school and family groups in autumn. Homestead National Historical Park near Beatrice tells the story of the Homestead Act and makes an excellent social studies field trip. Indian Cave State Park, along the Missouri River bluffs, draws scout troops, church retreats and hiking groups.
