30 Passenger Minibus Rental with a Professional Driver
Too many people for a van, not enough to fill a 56-seat coach. That middle ground is where most wedding parties, school clubs, church groups and company teams actually land, and it is exactly what a 30 passenger minibus is built for. BUSXOXO books mid-size charter buses with commercially licensed drivers across the United States, so your group rides together instead of splitting across five cars.
Tell us your headcount, dates and route. We match you with a vetted operator's 28 to 35 seat minibus or mini coach, confirm the amenities in writing, and send a clear quote. Not sure 30 seats is right? Compare our 18 to 25 passenger minibus or the 50 passenger charter bus.
- 28 to 35 seats
- CDL drivers included
- Hourly, daily or one-way pricing

What counts as a 30 passenger minibus?
In the charter industry, "30 passenger minibus" is a size class, not a single model. It covers two body styles. The first is the cutaway minibus, built on a heavy truck chassis with a bus body behind the cab, often with a front entry door and a wheelchair lift option. The second is the mini coach, a scaled-down motorcoach with high-back seats, a flatter ride and, on some models, under-floor luggage bays. Both usually seat somewhere between 28 and 35 people, which is why you will see the same vehicle listed as a 28, 30, 31 or 35 passenger bus.
The useful question is not the model name but whether everyone in your group gets a real seat with room for their bags. A group of 26 with carry-ons fits comfortably. A group of 33 heading to the airport with full suitcases may not. Our guide to how many seats are on a minibus breaks down the common seat counts, and the types of charter buses article shows where this size sits in the wider fleet.
Every BUSXOXO minibus booking comes with a driver. You do not rent the bus and drive it yourself. Any vehicle designed to carry 16 or more people including the driver requires a commercial driver's license with a passenger endorsement, so a professional operator is part of the package, along with fuel, insurance and the vehicle itself.
Compared with our general minibus rental page, which covers every small bus size, this page focuses only on the 30 seat class: how it is laid out, what it costs, which trips it handles well and where it runs out of room.

Why a 30 seat bus fills the gap other vehicles leave
Group size rarely lands on the neat numbers vehicles are built around. A 15 passenger van tops out quickly, an 18 to 25 seat minibus is tight once the group passes two dozen, and a 56 seat coach leaves half its seats empty for a group of 30. The ladder below shows where each vehicle in our fleet sits on a 0 to 60 passenger scale. The highlighted band is the range a 30 passenger minibus covers without wasting seats or squeezing people in.
The math planners usually check first
Charter buses are priced per vehicle, not per seat, so the number that matters is cost per passenger. When a group of 30 books a full-size coach, they pay for 26 empty seats plus the extra fuel and larger-vehicle rates that come with them. Move the same group into a right-sized minibus and the per-person figure usually drops, even though the bus is smaller.
The table uses illustrative rates to show the pattern, not a quote. Real prices depend on your city, date and route, which we explain in the pricing section further down and in our article on how charter bus pricing works.
Assumes a 6 hour local charter. Hourly figures are example mid-market rates for illustration only.
| Option | Example total | Per person |
|---|---|---|
| Two 15 passenger vans | 2 × $130/hr = $1,560 | $52 |
| One 30 passenger minibus | $195/hr = $1,170 | $39 |
| One 56 passenger coach | $230/hr = $1,380 | $46 |
| Rideshare, 8 cars each way | 16 rides × $45 = $720 | $24, no waiting, split group |
Rideshare looks cheaper for a single drop-off, but it cannot wait at the venue, keep the group together or handle return trips at a fixed price. For any trip with multiple stops, the minibus usually wins on cost and logistics. See charter bus vs carpooling for a fuller comparison.
Will your group fit? Check before you request a quote
Headcount is only half of the sizing decision. Luggage and trip length matter just as much. Twenty-eight people heading to a dinner downtown need nothing more than a seat each. The same twenty-eight going to the airport for a week-long trip bring suitcases that will not all fit in a minibus luggage area, and a long highway day is easier on everyone with a little spare room.
Move the slider to your expected headcount, including chaperones, coaches or staff who ride along, then set luggage and trip type. The checker uses the same rules of thumb our booking team uses on the phone. It is a starting point; your quote confirms the final vehicle.

Inside the cabin, from the door to the back row
Photos make every bus look roomy. What actually shapes your trip is how the space is divided. Here is how a typical 30 passenger minibus is laid out, front to back, along with the one question worth asking about each zone before you book. Our full charter bus amenities checklist covers the rest.
Entry and driver
Passengers board through a curbside door near the front, usually with two or three steps. The driver sits front left with a PA microphone, which matters more than people expect for tours and wedding loops where someone needs to announce stops. Cutaway minibuses can be fitted with a rear or side wheelchair lift.
Ask: is there a lift, and how many wheelchair positions does it create? Each position typically removes two to four seats.
Front rows
The first few rows give the smoothest ride and the best forward view, which is why group leaders, older passengers and anyone prone to motion sickness tend to sit here. On most models these rows sit right over or just behind the front axle, so bumps are softer than at the rear.
Ask: can the first row be held for a planner or chaperone? It makes headcounts at each stop faster. See motion sickness tips.
Middle rows
The bulk of the seating sits here in two-plus-two pairs. Legroom is where models differ most: a mini coach with high-back reclining seats feels close to a motorcoach, while a basic cutaway minibus has closer rows and lower seat backs. Overhead racks above the windows hold jackets, small backpacks and purses.
Ask: are seats reclining with outlets or USB at each pair? Worth confirming for any trip over two hours.
Rear and luggage
The back of the bus holds the last row plus a luggage area or rear compartment. On a cutaway, this space is limited, roughly enough for carry-ons and a modest number of full-size bags. Mini coaches may add bays under the floor. Onboard restrooms are uncommon in this size and appear mostly on mini coach models.
Ask: how many full-size suitcases fit, and is there a restroom? Read do charter buses have bathrooms.
Because BUSXOXO books through a network of licensed local operators, the exact model varies by city. Instead of promising amenities a specific bus may not have, we list them on your quote. If Wi-Fi, a restroom or a lift is essential, say so when you request pricing and we only quote vehicles that meet it. For trips where a restroom is non-negotiable, the executive charter bus or a full-size coach is the more reliable choice.
How much does a 30 passenger minibus rental cost?
Most 30 seat minibus charters in the US are priced one of three ways: by the hour with a minimum, by the day, or by the mile for long one-way and multi-day routes. Short local events like weddings, airport runs and dinners are almost always hourly. Trips that leave town for the day switch to a day rate, and a tour that covers several hundred miles is often quoted on mileage plus driver costs.
Across the industry in 2026, hourly rates for this size commonly fall between about $140 and $350, with four to five hour minimums on busy days. Smaller markets and weekday bookings sit toward the low end. New York, Boston, San Francisco and big event weekends push to the top. A full day often lands somewhere between $1,400 and $3,000 depending on hours and distance.
These ranges are a planning guide, not a price list. Your BUSXOXO quote is a single all-in figure for your actual route, with the line items spelled out. Our blog goes deeper on how much it costs to rent a minibus and the cost to rent a charter bus for a day.
What a minibus quote includes
Typical line items you will see itemized
Deadhead time, when the bus travels empty from the garage to your pickup, can apply in areas far from operators. We tell you up front if it does.
Six things that move your price the most
Date and season
Saturdays from April to October, graduation weeks and December holiday parties book first and price highest. A Thursday in February can cost noticeably less.
Hours, not miles, for local trips
A wedding that runs 5 to 11 pm is billed for the full window even if the bus sits parked during dinner. Tighten the schedule to cut cost.
Overnight driver needs
Multi-day trips add the driver's hotel room. Long days can require a second driver to stay within federal hours-of-service limits.
Pickup location
Cities with many operators keep rates competitive. Rural pickups may include deadhead travel from the nearest garage.
Vehicle tier
A mini coach with reclining seats and a restroom costs more than a standard cutaway minibus. Pay for it on long rides, skip it for short shuttles.
One-way vs round trip
A one-way trip may still be billed for the bus's return. Compare both in round trip vs one-way.
Sample budgets for a 30 seat minibus
| Trip | Billing | Example range | Per person, 28 riders |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wedding guest shuttle, hotel to venue and back | 5 hour minimum | $800 to $1,500 | $29 to $54 |
| Corporate airport pickup, one terminal run | 3 to 4 hour minimum | $550 to $1,200 | $20 to $43 |
| School field trip, 90 miles each way | Day rate | $1,300 to $2,200 | $46 to $79 |
| Two-day team tournament, one overnight | Daily plus driver room | $3,000 to $5,200 | $107 to $186 |

Seven honest ways to lower a minibus quote
Charter pricing has fewer hidden levers than most people think, but the ones that exist are real. None of these tips involve cutting corners on safety or driver rest. They are about booking the bus for the time you actually use it and avoiding the dates everyone else wants.
If you have flexibility on any of the points here, mention it when you request a quote. We will price a couple of options side by side so you can see the difference.
Shift the day, not the bus
Friday and Saturday evenings in peak season are the most expensive hours in charter travel. A Thursday dinner outing or a Sunday morning tour can come in noticeably lower for the same vehicle.
Often the biggest single savingTrim idle hours
For local events, the meter runs from garage departure to return. If the bus would sit for four hours during a reception, compare a split charter, with a drop-off and a separate late pickup, against keeping it on site.
Fill the seats you pay for
Twenty-eight riders in a 30 seat bus beats twenty riders in the same bus on a per-person basis. If two small groups are heading to the same event, sharing one minibus cuts each group's cost.
Choose the right tier
A short hotel-to-venue shuttle does not need a mini coach with a restroom and reclining seats. Save premium features for highway days where they actually make a difference.
Book early for peak dates
Early bookings lock in availability before the operators nearest your pickup are committed. Late requests sometimes require a bus from farther away, which adds travel time to the bill.
Simplify the route
Each extra pickup adds minutes and sometimes tolls. One central meeting point is cheaper and more reliable than five home addresses.
Ask about one-way pricing
If your group only needs a ride in one direction, a one-way transfer can cost less than a full round trip, especially near an operator's base.
Trips where 30 seats is the right call
These are the bookings we see most often for this size, with the typical headcount and the detail that tends to decide whether a minibus works. Each links to a deeper guide for that type of group travel.
Wedding guest shuttles
A minibus is easy to park at vineyards, barns and hotel drop-off lanes where a 45 foot coach struggles. Most couples run two or three loops between the hotel and venue, then a late return. See wedding bus rental and wedding shuttle vs charter bus.
Decide the last return time before booking; it sets your billed hours.
Corporate offsites and client events
Department retreats, plant tours and client dinners fit one bus, which keeps the team together and arrives looking organized. Wi-Fi and outlets turn the ride into working time. More on corporate event charter buses.
Ask for a PA system if someone will brief the group on the way.
Sports teams and tournaments
A varsity roster plus coaches and trainers often lands right around 30. The catch is equipment: bat bags, hockey gear and coolers take space. Read sports team bus rental.
Bulky gear for 28 or more athletes may need a bus with under-floor bays.
School and college trips
One classroom with teachers and parent volunteers usually fits. A minibus also suits campus visits, debate meets and band sections. Compare with a school bus rental and read the field trip benefits guide.
Count chaperones in your headcount; they are the riders most often forgotten.
Church and faith groups
Retreats, youth camps, mission trips and Sunday outings for seniors. A bus with a lift opens the trip to members who cannot manage steps. See church bus rental and church van vs charter bus.
Request a wheelchair lift at quote time; lift-equipped models book out first.
Airport and cruise port transfers
For terminal pickups, plan fewer riders than seats because suitcases need room. Drivers can track flights and wait at commercial pickup zones. Details at airport charter bus and cruise port transfers.
More than 26 travelers with checked bags? Step up to a larger coach.
Concerts, festivals and game days
One bus means one parking fee and no designated driver. The smaller footprint helps at stadium bus lots with tight turns. More at concert and festival charters.
Agree on a fixed post-event meeting point and time with the driver.
Wine, brewery and casino outings
Multi-stop tasting days and casino runs are ideal for a minibus, since winery lots are small and everyone rides home safely. See casino bus rental and our winery group tour ideas.
Check each venue's rules on buses and outside drinks before you go.
Private tours and family reunions
City sightseeing, national park day trips and multi-generation reunions. Everyone sees the same views and nobody navigates. Start with private bus rental and national park tours by bus.
Some parks restrict vehicle length on scenic roads; a minibus often clears limits a coach does not.
Government and agency travel
Training cohorts, site inspections and delegation visits that need documentation and punctual timing. See government and military transport.
Ask for certificates of insurance and operating authority with your quote.
30 passenger minibus vs vans, shuttles and full-size coaches
Each vehicle in a charter fleet is good at something. The scorecard rates five common options for a group of roughly 30 people on the factors planners ask about most. More filled dots means a stronger fit for that factor. Scroll sideways on smaller screens.
The pattern is consistent: the minibus rarely wins every row, but it is the only option that scores well on keeping the group together, fitting into ordinary parking lots and matching the bill to the headcount at the same time. That balance is why it is our default recommendation for groups between 25 and 33 people. Where it falls short is luggage and long-haul comfort, which is exactly where the bigger coach earns its higher price.
| For a group of about 30 | 15 passenger vans (×2) | Shuttle bus | 30 passenger minibus | School bus | 55 passenger coach |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Keeps group together | Split across two | If 30 seat model | One bus | One bus | One bus |
| Highway comfort | Bench seats | Built for short hops | Good; best on mini coaches | No A/C on many | Best ride |
| Luggage space | Very limited | Small rack | Carry-ons, some suitcases | Minimal | Under-floor bays |
| Tight venues and parking | Fits anywhere | Compact | Most lots and drives | Long body | Needs bus access |
| Cost for 30 riders | Two drivers billed | Low, local only | Right-sized | Lowest hourly | Paying for empty seats |
| Onboard restroom | No | No | Some mini coaches | No | Standard |
Dots summarize typical vehicles in each class; individual models vary.
When to pick something smaller
If your confirmed count is under 22 and luggage is light, a smaller minibus or a pair of Sprinter vans often costs less. Vans also make sense when groups need to split up mid-day. Our charter bus vs Sprinter van and charter bus vs van rentals guides explain the tradeoffs.
When to go bigger
Choose a full-size charter bus when the trip runs longer than five or six hours each way, when everyone brings checked bags, or when a restroom is essential. For a party atmosphere with lighting and sound, a party bus is a different product altogether; see charter bus vs party bus and shuttle bus vs charter bus.
Three ways planners schedule a 30 seat minibus
Seeing a real schedule helps you price your own. These sample plans reflect how groups commonly structure the day, including the buffer time and driver breaks that keep a charter on schedule. Swap in your own times and stops when you request a quote.
Evening wedding, two hotel loops
58 guests, one 30 seat minibus, 6 billed hours
- Bus arrives at Hotel A. Driver checks the route to the venue gate and confirms the drop-off spot.
- Loop one departs with 29 guests. A wedding party member rides along to direct people.
- Loop two collects the remaining 29 guests from Hotel A and Hotel B.
- Ceremony begins. Bus parks on site; the driver takes a break and stays reachable by phone.
- Early return for families with children and older guests.
- Final return loop once the send-off ends.
Why it works: two loops let one minibus move 58 people for less than a 56 seat coach, and the smaller bus fits the venue's narrow lane. Ideas for the day in wedding transportation ideas.
Weekend soccer tournament
22 players, 4 coaches, gear bags; 2 days, 1 overnight
- Pickup at the school lot. Gear loads first into the rear area, then players board by roster.
- Arrive at the tournament complex 160 miles away, an hour before first kickoff.
- Shuttle to team dinner, then the hotel. The driver goes off duty for the required rest period.
- Hotel to fields for bracket play.
- Depart after the final; one rest stop on the way home.
Why it works: 26 riders leave a few empty seats for overflow gear, and one bus avoids parent carpools for 320 miles. The quote includes the driver's room. See group sports trip ideas.
Corporate offsite with airport pickup
27 staff, carry-on bags, one day
- Driver monitors two inbound flights and stages at the commercial pickup area.
- Team boards with carry-ons. The organizer confirms the headcount at the door.
- Arrive at the retreat venue. The bus waits on site or returns to the garage, depending on the quote.
- Short plant tour across town, using the PA for a guided briefing.
- Drop at the team dinner, then the hotel.
Why it works: one vehicle replaces about nine rideshares each way, and arrival times are predictable. Read can a charter bus pick you up at the airport and corporate charter benefits.

How far ahead to book
Thirty seat minibuses are among the most requested vehicles in any fleet because so many groups fall in this range. That means the good ones go first on peak dates. As a rule, book as soon as your date and rough headcount are known; you can usually fine-tune the count later.
To get an accurate quote on the first try, have these ready: the date and time window, your best headcount, every pickup and drop-off address, any stops along the way, rough luggage amounts and must-have features such as a lift or restroom. Groups that share a full itinerary up front rarely see price changes later.
Last-minute requests do happen, and we can often help within a week, but options narrow. Lift-equipped buses and mini coaches with restrooms are the hardest to find on short notice. Changes and cancellations follow our return and refund policy.
Suggested lead time
- Weddings, proms3 to 6 months
- Graduations, Dec. parties2 to 4 months
- Tournaments, tours6 to 10 weeks
- Corporate events3 to 6 weeks
- Off-peak weekday1 to 2 weeks
General guidance; popular cities and holiday weekends book earlier.
Safety, licensing and what we verify before you ride
A 30 passenger minibus is a commercial passenger vehicle, and the rules that govern it are the same ones that apply to full-size coaches. The driver must hold a commercial driver's license with a passenger endorsement. Companies that carry passengers across state lines need a USDOT number and active operating authority from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, along with insurance on file.
Drivers also follow federal hours-of-service limits for passenger carriers: no more than 10 hours behind the wheel after 8 consecutive hours off duty, and no driving after 15 hours on duty. That is why a long day trip may need an overnight stay or a relief driver, and why it is never a good idea to ask a driver to make up lost time.
BUSXOXO works with partner operators rather than a single fleet, so vetting is part of every booking. We check authority, insurance and safety records before an operator is quoted. You are always welcome to check for yourself using FMCSA's Look Before You Book bus safety search. Our safety and trust page and the article are charter buses safe? explain our standards in more detail.
Seatbelt fitment varies by model and year. Where belts are installed, passengers should wear them whenever the bus is moving. Curious which seat is safest? See the safest seat on a charter bus and modern charter bus safety measures.
Five things to confirm on any minibus quote
- USDOT number and operating authorityAsk for the operator's DOT number and check it shows authority to carry passengers.
- Certificate of insuranceSchools, agencies and venues often require proof naming them as certificate holder.
- Driver license classA CDL with passenger endorsement is required for vehicles built for 16 or more people including the driver.
- Driver hours on long daysFor trips over roughly 10 driving hours, confirm a relief driver or overnight break is built in.
- Accessibility needsRequest a lift-equipped vehicle in writing if any rider uses a wheelchair or mobility device.

A group leader's guide to a smooth minibus day
Most charter hiccups come from small things: a headcount that grew by four, a pickup address that points to the wrong hotel entrance, nobody knowing where the bus is parked after the show. These habits, collected from organizers who book with us regularly, prevent nearly all of them.
Before the trip
Lock the headcount a week out. Thirty seats means thirty people, and every rider needs a seat, children included. If your count creeps past the seat total, call us before the day so we can upgrade.
Give an exact pickup point. "Main lobby, north entrance on Elm St" beats a hotel name. Check whether the venue needs advance notice for bus parking; our parking guidelines help.
Share the plan. Send riders the departure time, a 10 minute early arrival ask and the luggage limit. See how early to arrive.
On board
Appoint one contact. The driver should hear changes from a single person, not ten. Keep that person in the front row.
Agree on food rules. Many operators allow snacks and capped drinks; some limit messy food or alcohol. Read can you eat and drink on a charter bus and our charter bus etiquette notes.
Plan for the ride. Long highway stretches go faster with a playlist or a game. Try these games to play on a charter bus, or catch up on rest with tips for sleeping on a bus.
After you arrive
Set the return time aloud. Announce it on the PA and in a group text. A fixed meeting spot matters more at stadiums than anywhere else.
Do a sweep. Before the last drop, ask everyone to check the overhead racks and under seats. Phones and jackets are the usual leftovers.
Thank the driver. If gratuity is not in your quote, 10 to 20 percent is customary, depending on service and trip length. Leave feedback on our testimonials page so we can share it with the operator.
Charter terms on your minibus quote, decoded
Bus quotes use a handful of industry terms that are rarely explained. Knowing them makes it easier to compare offers and spot what is, and is not, included.
- Garage to garage
- Billing starts when the bus leaves the operator's yard and ends when it returns, not only when passengers are aboard. Most hourly local charters work this way.
- Minimum hours
- The shortest block an operator will book, often four or five hours on weekends. A 90 minute airport run is still billed at the minimum.
- Deadhead
- Miles or hours the bus travels empty to reach your pickup or return home. It matters most for one-way trips and rural pickups.
- Split charter
- Two separate service windows on the same day, such as a morning drop and an evening pickup, so you are not billed for the hours between.
- Cutaway
- A minibus built on a truck-style chassis with the passenger body mounted behind the driver's cab. Common in the 25 to 35 seat range.
- Mini coach
- A purpose-built small motorcoach with coach-style seating and a smoother ride, sometimes with under-floor luggage bays and a restroom.
- Driver accommodations
- The hotel room and sometimes meals for your driver on overnight trips. It appears as a separate line item or is built into the day rate.
- Operating authority
- Federal permission for a company to carry passengers for hire across state lines, tied to its USDOT number. Learn more in choosing a charter company.

30 passenger minibus rental FAQ
Straight answers to the questions group planners ask us most about this size of bus. Anything not covered here? Call +1 (308) 304-6668 or email booking@busxoxo.com.
How many people fit in a 30 passenger minibus?
Up to 30 seated passengers on most models, plus the driver. Buses sold in this class range from about 28 to 35 seats, so your quote states the exact count. Every rider needs a seat, and for trips with full-size suitcases it is wise to plan for 24 to 26 riders so luggage has room.
How much does it cost to rent a 30 passenger bus?
Industry rates in 2026 commonly run about $140 to $350 per hour with a four to five hour minimum, or roughly $1,400 to $3,000 for a full day. Your city, date, hours and route set the final price. BUSXOXO quotes one all-in total for your trip. See minibus rental costs for examples.
Does the rental include a driver?
Yes. Every BUSXOXO minibus comes with a professional driver who holds a commercial driver's license with a passenger endorsement. Fuel and operator insurance are included in the quote as well. Self-drive rentals of buses this size are not offered.
Do I need a CDL to drive a 30 passenger bus myself?
In the US, vehicles designed to carry 16 or more people including the driver require a commercial driver's license with a passenger endorsement. That is one reason charter companies supply the driver as part of the booking.
Does a 30 passenger minibus have a bathroom?
Usually not. Restrooms are uncommon in this class and appear mainly on mini coach models. If you need one, mention it when requesting a quote. For long trips, a full-size coach or the executive charter bus is the more reliable option.
How much luggage can a 30 passenger minibus carry?
Expect room for a carry-on or backpack per rider in overhead racks, plus a limited number of full-size suitcases in the rear luggage area. Mini coaches with under-floor bays carry more. Share your luggage plans so we can match the right vehicle.
Can one minibus make several trips for a large group?
Yes. Running loops is a common way to move 50 to 90 guests with one 30 seat bus, especially for weddings and conferences with short hotel-to-venue distances. Allow 30 to 45 minutes per loop in most cities, and plan the schedule so the last loop still arrives on time.
Is a 30 passenger minibus wheelchair accessible?
Many cutaway minibuses can be ordered with a wheelchair lift and securement positions. Each position replaces a few seats. Request accessibility at the time of quoting so we only offer lift-equipped vehicles.
What is the difference between a minibus and a mini coach?
A minibus is usually built on a truck chassis with a bus body and a front door near the driver. A mini coach is a smaller version of a motorcoach, with high-back seats, a smoother ride and sometimes under-floor storage. Both often seat 28 to 35. Read minibus vs coach bus.
How far in advance should I book?
For weddings and proms, three to six months ahead is ideal. Graduation season and December parties need two to four months. Corporate trips and weekday outings can often be arranged in a few weeks. Short-notice requests are possible but choices narrow.
Can a 30 passenger minibus be used for long-distance trips?
Yes. Minibuses run day trips and multi-day tours regularly. For trips longer than five or six hours each way, ask for a mini coach with reclining seats, and remember federal hours-of-service rules may require an overnight stop or a second driver.
Can we eat or drink on the bus?
Most operators allow snacks and non-alcoholic drinks with lids. Rules on alcohol and messy food vary by operator and state. We confirm the policy for your vehicle in advance. See eating and drinking on a charter bus.
How much should we tip the driver?
If gratuity is not already in your quote, 10 to 20 percent of the trip cost is customary, adjusted for service and trip length. Some groups prefer to add it to the invoice. Our guide on tipping a charter bus driver has more detail.
What happens if our headcount changes after booking?
Tell us as soon as you know. Small changes within the seat count need no action. If your group grows past the seats on your bus, we can usually move you to a larger vehicle or add a second one, subject to availability on your date.
Can the driver wait for us during the event?
On hourly charters the bus and driver stay with your group for the booked window, parked nearby and reachable by phone. On long waits, a split charter with separate drop-off and pickup times can cost less. We price both when it makes sense.
