About Gatorland

The park is located on a site containing 110 acres between Kissimmee and Orlando on the South Orange Blossom Trail. It has a very natural feel about it that differs greatly from Central Florida parks while providing many recreation opportunities.

At Gatorland, you’ll find thousands of crocodiles and alligator species as well as rare albino alligators at this wildlife park. Guests can also enjoy many other activities including a free-flying aviary, petting zoo, animal showcase and the Screamin’ Gator Zipline! The opportunity to see, touch and interact with alligators, crocodiles and birds is what differentiates Gatorland from other parks. You will also have the chance to attend spectacular shows like “Legends of the Swamp: Alligators”, “Gator Jumparoo”, and others performed during the Up Close Encounters event. Panther Springs at Gatorland

Panther Springs at Gatorland Orlando opened for business during the Summer of 2018 and is home to a spectacular hybrid panther species (wild cat), and they’re also extremely photogenic. The hybrids, the Florida Panther and the Western Cougar (they are the only two hybrid panthers), have their very own look and personality!

As natural carnivores, they are fed a meat-based diet. Their food would be meat. In extreme heat, keepers provide them with frozen blood treats to help them cool down. It would be possible to view these animals as they lounge and play in their new habitat. They are often spotted playing in the water, bathing and hunting for fish. In addition to the hybrid panther species, there is the Florida Bobcat family. The Florida Bobcat family lives near the hybrid panthers in an area called Bobcat Bayou.
